ABOUT
I’m Olivia, but my friends call me Liv. After working in the fashion industry for 10 years for brands like ASOS, Chanel, Calvin Klein and more (from in house to agency, retail, marketing, events & PR), I launched my own independent fashion label in 2019, MAISON ESSENTIELE: Womenswear and elevated essentials for global it girls.
We’ve been featured in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, RUSSH, and all good publications, worn by celebrities Rita Ora, Jen Atkin and Whitney Eve Port, and are sold all over the world.
I started this newsletter, Creative Direction, as a corner of the internet where I can lift the curtain on all things fashion and business as a 30 something building an independent label, maybe give some advice and insight into me as a creative: what I’m buying, reading, and using. I’ll also interview friends in the industry, and I travel a lot, so there will probably be some city guides, too.
